More Foley for the educational video series-- this time, sweetening for a moment when a character drops a box of candy on the floor. I was going for a multi-impact "flam" (fa-thump, more than one hit) instead of a single impact. And achievement was in fact unlocked.

Made for an audience of people with developmental disabilities, these short narrative films provide instruction on how to respond to sexual assault scenarios and related uncomfortable situations. The world we’re building is one where many things are made of light, so I cut together some cues for energy impacts. You know: energy impacts. Once again, these sounds are sourced entirely from a single analog synth, in keeping with the retro-futurist sensibility.
