Reverend Matt’s Monster Science presented the lecture “Raining Cats and Manticores: Late Night Monster Science”— exploring cats in prehistory, cryptozoology, mythology, and fiction.

Sam Landman opened with the inauguration of his new "Rockucation Series", unearthing the secret history of Prince's "Computer Blue" (extended remix, of course).

All in all, one of the more satisfying evenings of entertainment in recent memory.

MUSEUM of PORTABLE SOUND REPS WALKMAN'S 40th

As a proud associate of the Museum of Portable Sound, I applaud Associated Press’ decision to tap the Museum’s director John Kannenberg as an expert witness for its recent feature on the 40th anniversary of the Sony Walkman. AP interviewed Kannenberg in front of Abbey Road Studios, and even shot footage of him traversing the famed crosswalk!
