I’m happy to have contributed an original musical score (also featured in the trailer above) as well as sound edit and final mix to the short documentary “Uganda Gold”, directed by J.D. O’Brien. The short premieres at the film’s Facebook page on Sunday, March 29th at 7PM CST. Check it out!

In a country where 30% of the population doesn’t have access to clean water, drilling a sustainable well is like striking gold. “Uganda Gold” tells the story of Ugandans’ struggle to fulfill this basic need for their community.

ORIGINAL SOUNDSCAPE FOR EXPERIMENTAL FILM: "NOWHERE LEFT TO RUN"

An excerpt from my original musical score and sound design on Felipe Mafasoli’s experimental film “Nowhere Left to Run”-- an abstract vision of a post-apocalyptic dream world. I dialed in the drones on an analog synth, multitracked them to produce grinding overtones, and drenched them in a spacious reverb. The jagged, percussive sounds that accompany the cuts and lens flares are from an FX library.

AD FED 2020 "THE SHOW" AWARDS: 3M "BUILT TO PERFORM" MARKETING VIDEO

Congratulations to Shinebox Creative for awards in Branded Content and Cinematography for this piece at AdFed’s The Show 2020! I’m happy to have contributed FX edit, Foley, and final mix to this marketing video for 3M. Tailored to the needs of pro contractors, the aesthetic centers dedication, durability, and reliability in the face of demanding circumstances.

No audio was documented on set, so the project required extensive FX edit and Foley to articulate the visceral, highly textured reality of the work depicted. Once I had video, music, and voiceover in hand, the rest of the soundscape was on me to create and balance. I’ve had a great time working with the team at Shinebox to create the world of audio branding for this campaign.
